When i use to play RS i had a thing i could jsut start up from the desktop and play runescape .. it connected to the actually game server though it wasnt a private server...

does anybody know what this is called or where i can get one?

it was nice because it had everything all in one, stats check, quest check, etc...

it doesn't connects to the server directly because thats illegal right now.
but you can look up stats etc.

yea i jsut found the one i used before: EliteSwitch ... like you said it wont connect to the server like it use to...

you could make your own one, because if your holding your mouse above a world, you will see the link.

maybe ill have to look into it =D

well... ive been looking into it and messing around with visual basic.. pretty simple stuff there so far but what has really stopped me is the fact that runescape has some security thing that the game will NOT load unless you connect via www.runescape.com ... i cant seem to get a window to open via my desktop . . .
