Best advice. Sometimes you may have to unplug your modem until the power (even the backup power) inside of it fails.

Dynamic IPs only gets affected by that.

Most people have Dynamic IP's unless they specifically asked/payed for it. Normally only companies do this.

I did not ask or pay anything extra and I have a Static IP. Awesome, isn't it?
