[RELEASE] LSS Visual Dialog Designer v1.1

This program, LSS Visual Dialog Designer, will allow you to visually create dialog windows and generate the L. Spiro Script, or LSS, code according to your design. The program also has a wide array of features which include, but are not limited to:

- Saving and Loading Designs
- Support for ALL controls supported in LSS
- Gridlines
- Snapping controls to the grid
- Dialog context menu
- Keyboard shortcuts

The gridlines and snapping will allow you to create dialogs with pinpoint accuracy. Snapping the controls will align them perfectly along the gridlines but only works when you use the mouse. If you use the arrow keys to resize/move, snapping doesn't occur.

To view the dialog context menu, after you create a new dialog or load a design, simply right click on the dialog window.

The keyboard shortcuts are for the dialog window. After you create a new dialog or load a design, you can use the shortcuts as follows:

- Enter key: Allows you to view the properties
- Delete key: Removes the currently selected control
- Arrow keys: Allows you to move the currently selected control
- Arrow keys + Shift key: Allows you to resize the currently selected control

You can also resize the controls by using the left mouse button and move them by using the right mouse button. Even the properties window has shortcuts. To edit an entry you can double click it or select it and press the Enter key. There are many others but I'm sure you can figure them out.

I got 2 small requests, m8 :-)

- an option to set the distance between the grid lines
- an option to lock everything in place, so accidental moving is prevented.

aside from that, your app has a permanent place in my 'coding' folder.
again, great work...

(oh and yes, I tickled it a LOT.. lol)

As per mezzo's requests, I've updated the program with those two new features.

Now you can specify the spacing between the gridlines, but it won't go any lower than 10, half of what it is by default. I figure 10 is low enough, what about you? To modify it, simply do so from the dialog properties. You can also choose whether to lock the controls on the new dialog window, from the new dialog window context menu.

Gridline spacing is saved to the global settings (lssvdset.dat) along with the others (gridlines, always on top, etc). Control locking, however, is saved with each individual design.

Also to make things a bit easier, I've added the ability to show the properties just by double clicking the new dialog window.

Hey Spiro, just so you know the link to the zip file is corrupt. I updated the link with mediafire this time so it shouldn't get deleted again. You can reup it to your server again if you want/have time. ;)

That's weird, for some reason when I try to download it from here it says that it's only 47.41Kb.

Also, I know the reason for disabling [img] and [url] in signatures-well at least [img]-but could you re-enable it for me? Since I've never abused it to my knowledge, I'd like to update my sig with the new app if possible. If not, just let me know and I'll find another way instead.
