Wouldnt that be the highest value? Because in the negatives, the higher the number, the further away from 0 it is, so its value is actually lower.

that means either you did not attach to the process again, or your pointers did not work.

that doesnt mean your pointer is wrong, that just means that the address is either read only, protected, or simply the wrong address.

1 problem

Postby ravenflyer » Fri Aug 15, 2008 2:23 am

Hi, i'm with a little problem to find the pointer...
when I have found my Adress....so I try to find the pointer for this...so...
When i put for example:

if my adress is 1C78AB5C , I should to find for To: 1D78AB5C, From: 1C78AB5C , so...anyways, when i find for To: 1D78AB5C and From: 1C78AB5C, on my search appear a list of more than 50.000 adresses, and its too hard to find the lowest value in this case, have 1 way to sub-search...to reduce that number of adresses?

Another thing, on my MHS doesn't have that .dll "rsaenh.dll", should be the version of MHS that i'm using (5.002), and when i select the 2nd Module on the Simple Adress Column, (on this tutorial case Halo.exe) in my case HitmanBloodMoney.exe, the adress changes! What i'm doing wrong, thanks for help.

thanks.

First off you are not searching right.

Your address is 1C78AB5C. Why did you increase the value in your search? The help file clearly says search from this address to this address minus 0x1000 or so.

The second half of your question simply makes no sense.

So... if I should to decrease the adress should be this?

To: 1C78AB5C, From: 1D78AB5C

or

To: 1C78AB5C, From: 1C780000

Obviously it is the second one since that is the only one that decreases.

It could be more than a 2-level pointer, keep searching.

Thanks for the hint ^^

I will keep searching...
OBS: I make 1 Agility Hack for MU Online Seasson 3 Episode 2, using pointer! I'm starting to understand it...
I want to use it in RYL2, but the server that I play, hide the process Client.exe like I saw in 1 of my old posts...

Someone know how to open the process, even if it is hidden?
