Problem with an address, showing value 0

Postby Its2l82die » Wed Aug 05, 2009 1:37 am

Hello there, Im new here and Ive got a question.
My question is why is the address that I found using cheat engine shows me a float value lets say for example -5231.21 and when I add it to MHS it shows 0 the address is static and I did attach MHS to the right process. Now the game uses GameGuard and I have a UCE for the current GameGuard version but I wonder is it possible that the value in MHS showing 0 because of GameGuard maybe?

Edit:Now it says current value: Unobtainable instead of 0.

Please answer my question if you have a reasonable answer,
Thanks in Advance,
Its2l82die.

When you insert a new address, make sure you set its correct type. As for your case:

This is not the case I tried to add the address as Float and Double same result infact in HEX viewer the address and the whole part above and below is FF and in red color for some reason,
as if it is blocked and as i said before unobtaiable...
Strange maybe its gameguard?

Make sure you opened the right process and added the correct address. If the problem still persists, we'll have to wait for someone else's answer (by the way, "someone else" is a synonym for "L. Spiro").

MHS is reading its own RAM instead of the RAM in your game.
This is caused by nProtect GameGuard hooks on KeAttachProcess(). You will need a bypass.
