try changing it from read only to full access. on MHS click on File -> Properties then on the Chunks tab scroll down until you find the chunk with your addresses in it. does it say Read Only or Execute only or Read/Write or what? right click on the chunk that has your address(es) in it, mouse over where it says Set Access and change it to Full Access. maybe that will work.

Will try that!

That makes sense to be honest.

Just tried making the specific memory chunks full access as some were no access.

I couldn't seem to change the no access ones! I changed some of the addresses but when I openned more tables all of the counters still changed so unfortunately it seems so have made no improvement.

Surely this must be possible?

maybe there is a secondary address, at least if they are using bytes.

Is a secondary address a form of linked address like a pointer??

Or am I missing the point?

I've been attempting to inject code into the memory location which the counters are called.

I've tried NOP which has resulted in the Client hanging and I'm trying to essentially jump to a dummy location and back to the calling function but I'm struggling to do this.

Any advice?

Willing to Pay ££ for a solution

Postby Tricky » Thu Mar 12, 2009 7:51 pm

I've got to grips with the software a lot more now although I think I've reached a point where I have no other ideas on how to progress.

But I'm not one to give up so I'm quite willing to pay for a solution to make it worth someone with a little more experience to spend a little time looking at this.

The PokerStars client is free to download from their website. No need to log in, if you start the client without logging in you can view 5 tables and then you are restricted. So you can re-create the scenario. I just want to be able to remove this restriction.

Let me know if there are any takers.

Hello, I believe I've found the answer to your problems.

I've managed to open more then 5 games on an account that was not logged in.

I probably can't do more then 20, though.
