Why do some addresses can not be modified value?

Postby zmcool » Thu Feb 26, 2009 8:48 pm

Hello! I encountered a problem, although I know this question in your mind of the Medium are stupid. The same process has two addresses, one can modify the value, the other not. Before the use of CE can be modified VALUE. Figure 2 addresses in the original value is 21017, I think they changed to 15939. By modifying the settings, could solve the problem?

probably because those addresses are read only or protected. when MHS is attached to the game ur playing click on File -> Properties and then scroll down the list until u find the chunk that has your address in it and see what the rights are for it. change it to full access if its not writable.

Very grateful to liqmysaq, but when I do follow this, I found chunks here are blank, no data. simplified chunks inside some things such as address, physical address, but can not be modified.

It can not be done in Restricted Mode. Restricted Mode operates on the process directly instead of through Windows, and the reason it is called Restricted Mode is because some features are disabled.
