[Help] Pointers

Postby inuyasha » Thu Dec 18, 2008 4:42 am

I understand the pointers but I was reading into it some more and I found out that if the address is (0) it's pointing at the static address that will cause it to never change.

but I thought as long as it's green (static) It wouldn't matter can someone help clear this up I have 2 different sides of this story and need help understanding it a little more

an offset of 0 doesnt mean it always points to a static address, just that it points directly at an address.
