I completely under how to take to the tut made by jossee but just one quick question about the Module what does that do????

I saw that you had a Dll in it with a + xxxx can someone help explain what this does please?

sometimes static pointers can change, in that case u need to use module+offset instead of the address so ur pointer changes with your static address. say ur address is 00412345, that same address could be said using mygame.exe+6c12 (dont get a calc out and do the math cuz i pulled those out of my ass, its just an example). one game that u need to use module+offset instead of just an address is F.E.A.R.

I understand it now thanks for the help

and understanding

Also I did this on Quake 2 a FPS and I founded the quake2.exe + offset for it for the Health

but when I tried to do the Ammo and Armor I got werid names.dll + offset???????

do I keep doing it till I get the Quake2.exe?

is there a way to get it or knowing where the address is???
