modify/self not working

modify/self not working

when ever i use the Modify/self feature it doesn't work. i changed everything then hit "apply and close" and then i open it and nothing changes

Ensure you have not (for some strange reason) set MHS.exe to read-only.
Ensure you are the administrator of your computer.
Ensure that you have modified something that will actually give a visual result; CRC, size, and other will not have any visual result.

have you waited long enough for the function to do it's thing ?
As last time I ran the "modify self", it took at least 2 minutes before the
DOS box popped up and started to change the binary.
