Updating takes little skill. A truly patched hack is one that the triggering bytes in the packets for the hack are detected or the data from the packet you were modifying is simply removed from the client entirely. Assuming you are playing a network based game.

Who said I am modifying packets lol...

A truly patched hack is one where all the stuff that was once done on the client is now done on the server.

Softnyx has never went 100% server sided, not even 25%. I don't think they are willing to spend the money on the servers to handle it.

All hacks end up modifying packets. It's the most direct approach in explanation. Exceptions are stuff like ESP. The more important hacks effect packets. AKA what you shoot out. Sure, ESP lets you see other people, but the major exploits are derived from packets. (Ex: Speed Attack) It also depends on the game. MMORPG, client sided things are mostly trivial, FPS can make a big difference.

Then again, its what people classify as a hack. For me bot != hack, client-sided modifications != hack, exploiting server weaknesses == hack. There are multiple meanings to the word hack and it is all out of context.

My Uber Hack is not presently for sale because I need to add a crc bypass to my DLL now - not hard, but it will be done. This is the type of thing I was expecting from Softnyx.
