Upgrade to Windows XP.
Turn off kernel functions.
MHS has never been tested on Windows 7 and will not be for a very long time.

There's another topic about Windows 7 that may, or may not, be able to help you.

It means open MHS, go to Tools/Options, and disable kernel reading and writing of RAM.

Then your games have anti-cheat protections.

cabal, even bypassing x-trap was being able to inhibit speedhack from working. yesterday I tested it with a 'hero online' server and speedhack was actually the only hack I could play on the game (which most things are server-sided).

Microsoft hopes that the release of Windows 7 will solve problems ranging from desktop clutter to what Vista did to Microsoft's public reputation. But the toughest challenge may be to win over the group of people that arguably represent the software giant's biggest obstacle to success: Windows XP users.

The Windows 7 pitch, to date, takes direct aim at Vista's reputation as a bloated resource hog. As developers and members of the general public begin to tinker with the Windows 7 public beta, Microsoft is framing it as a lean and lithe OS, with the flexibility to run on all types of computers, from netbooks to high-end gaming laptops.

I just saw this thread, and a few people with windows 7 trying to run my hack, say that it doesn't work at all. It works on Vista and XP though. I even had them search for the address of epsxe (400000) and the address of the player's HP in game (epsxe's addresses stay the same) and they both come up as unobtainable.

Will going to Tools/Options, and disable kernel reading and writing of RAM fix my issue too, or do you have a better suggestion?

That depends on what your modification does.
If all it does is read the process RAM, and the process is 32-bit, then yes it will fix the problem. As I have Windows 7 64-bit, I know for a fact that MHS can properly read the memory of other 32-bit processes without kernel options enabled.

This is very odd. I was using MHS for a long time to make codes on my Windows 7 laptop and my desktop PC, but now it does not work on either machine.

I have not used my laptop for a few months so it has not been updated since the last time I used MHS. I could not get it to work on my desktop pc so I tried on my laptop and it gives the same result.

I start the program and I can choose the process, but when I start a new search, it always gives "0 results found". Kernel options are disabled and I am running as administrator. I have tried all compatibility modes as well and still no luck. I get no error message and the program does not crash.
