No Results Found

Postby Pz_N- » Tue Jun 17, 2008 12:39 pm

I was able to use MHS with no problems at all about a week or two ago, and all of a sudden it is unable to find any addresses when I search. If I attempt to search for addresses, it always results in "No Results Found." I was using the older version (4.0.0.13) and it worked fine. I read somewhere on the forum that the older versions worked fine on Windows Vista, so I decided not to download the latest version of MHS. I tried the latest version (4.0.19.0) and get the same results no matter what. I'm able to attach to any process, and tested with many programs still unable to get any addresses when I search. Also, I tested Cheat Engine for once, and cannot attach to any processes, resulting in an error with the program and exiting. It leaves me with an issue involving Data Execution Prevention (DEP), which I disabled to see if it allows MHS to work, and it did not work. I also disabled my Anti-Virus to test if that was the problem, and it didn't do anything either. I searched around the forum a little to see if somebody was experiencing the same problem, and I don't think I've seen anybody post a similar problem, so this is my last attempt to get this issue fixed. Here is my computer's basic information if you need it.

Windows Vista Home Premium -
Processor : AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4000+ 2.11 GHz
Memory (RAM): 958 MB
System type : 32-bit Operating System

x64 processors are not supported.

Go to Tools/Options/Kernel and disable the kernel ReadProcessMemory() and WriteProcessMemory().

@skyzo, the problem is not related to the amount of cores..
I have a quad core and run 32bit Xp and everything works just fine.

as long as you don't have a 64bit OS, it should work without changing anything.
- No thanks, I already have a penguin -
