pointers

In the address table it would be sweet to allow pointers.

What address table does not allow pointers?

I'm not sure if it is what high6 means, but if you do a pointer search and save the result in 'main list' (sorry, don't know by heart how it's called, I'm at work right now, so I cant check)

The result is an entry that has as a value the memory location where this pointer is pointing and the type is void.. I guess it would be nice to not see the memory address (ie the address of where this pointer points) but instead the value of the field pointed to.

I guess for this to work, there would have to be a declaration of what type of value this pointer is pointing to (char, int, long, ...)

Maybe there is already some way to do this now, but I haven't found it :-)

Well like if you have an pointer address that it could be evaluated in the values table so it gets the address of the value. and updates when it changes.

Here is a picture of it in cheatengine to better explain :P.

Read the help file regarding Complex Addresses.
Also Modifying Stored Values.

Yup...

In MHS Complex Address, you don't even have to click 'Add Pointer' instead just to TYPE IT..
From your screen-shot the complex address would be: [00b56320]+0x830

And there would be a realtime sumary of the address that the pointer points to just below it ...

Very Powerful n very simple ...

:)
