4.0.18 version number incorrect

Postby fabsyi » Tue May 20, 2008 8:01 pm

Hi L. Spiro,

Just letting you know that the version number as seen in "Help->About" doesn't seem to be updated in version 4.0.18. Still says 4.0.17

The code filter look great. Just have 1 question about it...how does MHS work out how many functions there are in a module? Does MHS scan the module when you add it and work out the number of functions in it?
Also, what is a function classified as? Is it a piece of code that is referenced by a call instruction, or a piece of code that sets up the stack frame or something else?

Thanks

Functions are referenced by CALL instructions, exported, or used as window message handlers.

Thanks.
I assume that it only includes CALL instructions with a pre-calculable destination address...ie. it wouldn't include something like CALL ESI?
