The knobs are not given names for a very specific reason: that would pose a security risk. I will only say that Knob 2 should always be (Knob 1 + 1).

And none of the knobs should ever go above 5, so the combinations are quite limited.

Restricted Mode is another way of opening processes and with this mode some of the knobs have no affect. Some features are disabled in order to reduce detectability. If the game detects MHS when you open it, open it in Restricted Mode instead.

Mr Spiro - many thanks again for your information.

liqmysaq - No, can confirm your technique doesn't work.

The problem I face with v17 now is I get "unable to open process" error when trying to attach to WT. Not even with the bypass I have. Damn! I LOVE those "knobs".

Cheers,
Lobbie

Try my technique,
1.Open MHS, go to options ,set 1st knob to 1 and others off and press ok, then exit MHS
2.Run MHS(before running wolfteam) and target a process(any process)
3. Leave it there and run wolfteam
4.alt tab out and target wolfteam.bin
5. You should get Unable to open process, just leave it and dont press anything
6.run another mhs and trget wolfteam and load ur lssave.

This works for me...however, something bad happens after u attach, its not a big deal anyway u can still hack normally

I have the bypass for this on my computer but it is not for release, neither privately nor publicly.

But the reason this version fails to open processes the previous versions could is because the anti-anti-cheat levels are now adjustable and they default to Off.

Tools/Options/AAC.
Enable the Anti-Anti-Cheat.
Set the first 2 knobs to 4 (after turning them on).
Set the 3rd and 4th knobs to 2.
Set the last knob to whatever you want.

The higher the numbers the greater the risk of blue screen (but on some computers there is no risk no matter the number). So it will be up to you to determine which levels are best for you.
If you get a blue screen or lock, MHS will automatically disable the Anti-Anti-Cheat and you will need to enable it again next time you load MHS.
This is for your own good and means that if you find bad settings you will still be able to run MHS again safely the next time.

Also, the higher the numbers and the more knobs enabled, the longer MHS takes to start. And you must restart MHS before these settings will take effect.
