I use Anti-Spam ACP on my phpBB forum (@ thekernelspoofer.com/forum)and have never had a problem with a spammer / bot since installing it. Installing was quite easy too.

i agree.. I admin both www.hotr.co.uk and www.gwradio.org forums,
Since I have installed the anti bot mods, we haven't had ANY bot posts anymore..
