Calulating adresses...

Postby rat » Sat Dec 09, 2006 8:35 am

I do not know if this is possible in the current och new version but I thougt I could let u know :)

Just as a thoug I think it would be good if is was possible to recalculate a adress. Just as an example using Tsearch with Alien Versus Predator 2:
I get the value: 1430720
When I us eTsearch's calculator and substract 2 from that value I get: 143071E

Is this already possible with the current version or is it doeble in the new one?
Or maybe u can make that function if it is not possible with the current/new comming version...

Just a thougt..

If all you want is a calculater, Windows® Calculator works just fine.

If you need an item to have its address changing depending on various parts of the game, you can write a script to calculate the address.

I will later implement “Complex Addresses” and a wizard for adding pointer calculations to item addresses.

I will also make a full calculator which allows reading values in the target RAM during calculations.
