Hex/Template Stuff

1. I have these weird hangs when hex editing - here's the deal: You select a byte. Move with the keyboard, do an operation on the selection. When you click OK, the whole program hangs in some infinite loop...

2. How about auto-updating the templates when the values change? Or have a refresh button. Something along these lines.

3. Be able to edit the values of stuff in the template window.

#2 and #3 were planned until I lost interest in working on MHS.

Eh... well that's really unfortunate. Should we hold any hopes for revival?

Because I have just discovered another bug. And this one is BIG! HUGE even... Downright GARGANTUAN

In the hex editor, when you move the operations window it automatically undoes any and ALL changes that you haven't securely saved to the hard drive!
You need to just once make the mistake of moving the operations window, because maybe you want to see what you are working on - and POOF, its all gone...

I know about that bug but do not know what causes it.
When I have fixed all of the reported bugs there will be another release.

Oh well...
There are some clues however. Here are they, in case you don't know that already, to hopefully help you in debugging.
Merely losing focus of the window causes it to revert.
The status bar also changes to "File Opened", and it reloads the file automatically. I modified it with an external editor, when I came back it told me that it has been modified and asked if I want to reload or not, but in the background, it had already reloaded the file.

And that's about the extent of what I discovered.
