Anyone Think This is Possible?

Anyone think that if Aeria Games won't host LoA, that NetGame might release the files needed to make a private server? I know its been done before, I don't remember what game, I think it was DOOM or Quake that they released files for people to make custom content because the older games were dead and they had newer versions, so you think that NetGame might? Just a thought, don't flame.
