yestoday i installed a router so that i can get internet on my other pc , then i tryed to get on Legend of ares , i logged in then went to Game Start ,The lil image pop out then i click start game but the comp shut down and a blue screen poped out.

my web design teacher told me is called "the blue screen of death"
he told me to downloud it again. well i kinda did i used the "SetUp" that i had used for my other pc and still turned blue T_T

any idea how to fix this?

blue screen of death? lol?

maybe its the blue error.. its when ocurre a critical error in ur system... idk how to fix it.. ask speedwing maybe he can help u

lol joking, but it is possible that you need to install again your OS
anyway try my guide in the Tips and Guides section in LoA forums ( if it wont work then you need to probably to format your pc )

i have this sometimes i dunno why it occurs tho, but after like 2 more tries it works fine and i dont get the bsod for like a few weeks.

The "blue screen of death" occurs when one of your windows32 boot files are corrupted, this happens when u for example turn ur power off without properly logging off/shutting down the pc.

The blue screen of death is a bitch theres no doubt about it but the thing is when u have it , your pc wont function.

As it effects the boot files ur pc wont be able to boot, ur pc will boot till the Windows XP/Vista loading bar then suddenly a blue screen with error code in white writing will occur (in a flash) and then ur pc will reset, like a cycle, once this has happened 3 times in a row its safe to say u will need to reformat. This is the reason you should backup your system regulary.

As for application software you are talking about LoA, i dont think it can cause a blue screen of death, unless it is a virus/trojan that effects the windows boot files, being a company i dont think it would, i think it may just be a corrupted file, it sometimes happens when u download software....

so maybe just redownload the software uninstall then reinstall with the most recently downloaded software

Ok lets start:
Go start->Settings->control panel like in this screen:

Next step is: click 2 times in System icon and go->Advanced button->first windows->settings.

Some times blue can be occured by hardware problems also...
And some applications can cause the blue screen mostly when the application+OS+Hardware get confilcted ( cant explain it better

)

I don't know what is the blue screen of death but I had same experience
like yours. I will just call it "blue screen".
I asked one of my friend and he told me
there are two possible problem with that.

First is graph card problem.
Second is motherboard problem.

so, I reset the motherboard and it never happen again.

try one of each~
