so I downloaded it... how did you guys manage to bypass the x-trap security?

It won't let me alt-tab to windows and it won't let me play windowed..(even though I have it configured to play windowed)..

fun game, not too good gfx, but mildly entertaining...

For LoA windowed mode

Go to where Legend Of Ares folder is located.

Typically MyComputer>Program Files>Legend of Ares


Double click option (configuration file)

At the very bottom line, it should say

CLIENTMODE=0

erase the 0 and put 1

CLIENTMODE=1

Save it, and you're good to go.


This is an example of a typical script.
In this case, "0" means off and "1" means on.

Note that you can also configure many other things
such as gamma and weather show.
Do not configure any of them, unless you know what you're doing.
