Looking for a memory mod for Dark Reign, I was always told that this is impossible to hack.
I find this hard to believe when it was written so long ago.
Anyone know if there is a way of cheating using memory hacks?

Since it's an unprotected old RTS game, you can definitly hack it to hell! There is no kind of protection and I guess that most to all stuff is handled client sided. Maybe you can't make a moneyhack since the money is probably calculated for all multiplayer clients seperatly and the game whould run out of sync when you do moneyhack, but things like maphack and stuff works 100%!
I don't know the game, so I can't tell you exactly what kind of hacks works and which not, but you can be sure that it is very easy to hack!

Yes! I tried a simple money hack on home network and kept getting errors.

I tried to use the handicap function as a hack but I cannot identify how to attach this to my name only.
