How about telling us what you would like to do...
or even explain what the aplication does that you would like to hack.

You are asking a question without any detail whatsoever,
try being more specific if you would like an answer that means anything.

if it is anything like irc, that stuff will all be serverside..

MHS works clientside.. so I'm guessing that it won't be possible...
(or at least be very hard.)
