Since you seem to have revived this topic, I just want to point out that if you do this, don't get upset if you get caught and no longer get to use this program that you're wanting to look at because "decompiling" as it were or "reverse engineering" is against the EULA of most programs out there that aren't free to the public, ones that are free typically let you have the source code depending on the nature of the program. But one Idea to look at some stuff is to use a (stable) version of L. Spiros Debugger/Disassembler to look at a programs innards, I've used that to fix certain trainers that are out of date, albeit with not much success but still.
