[Ask] How to train a dog?

I had adopted a lot of dogs which are about six. However, they all died in my carelessness either missing.

My family bought another puppy, poodle.

I have no idea how to train it. And also, I failed the first time, it pee at the floor. So, any idea to train it to pee and its cage?

I remember when i adopt my dog since 8 or 10 years ago

i first tot he got mental problem keep bit ppl so my father hit him with rotan
eventually the dog become good 0.0 and never peep near my house or poop =D

My dog is quite weird and funny. It will barely poop/pee in its cage until I release it.

One more, when I put it back to the cage and I look at it, it will keep nodding its head ( signaling me to release it )
