Ok so, on my other pc(the one i use this is my sa-mp hosting pc) had an epic fail so we had to re-install windows xp, once we did, our internet wouldnt work, so i went to network connections, and there is nothing, no local area connection, on anything AT ALL, , im sad, XD, i was like this

so yeah, immagine that gone, empty, any help?

huh.. Think that its Window's fault or your hardware?

If you think it is Windows, go download a Live CD for Ubuntu Linux. Boot off the Live CD and open the included Firefox. Ubuntu Auto-detects alot of things, and if your network has any hope, Linux live booted should find it.

If you think it is hardware, then plug the network card into another computer and see if it works in there.
Also, take your ethernet cord and put it in another computer to see if the ethernet cord is at fault.

hmm, i know its not my ethernet cord because im using that on this pc and it works, ill try the live cd, thanks =D

Have you tried reinstalling/updating your drivers?

Mmm yes if you have a network card that needs drivers, and you installed another version of Windows (not the original included) then it won't have the right drivers.

no we used the same OS that we had before, but we installed all of our drivers, so i dont know =(

you can try reset the modem or if your driver need to update then go update it some of it if u didnt update it might not working and figure it out what u did before it happen being like that
