What up people.

I figured since you are all cool people, you might want to hear some music that I make. Yes, I make music. FL Studio 8. Its kinda like Garage Band if thats all you know. I personally hate Garage Band. I don't use pre-made patterns like you have to in Garage Band. I use default sounds and generators. Anyways, I'm straying off-topic.

My style : Techno --> Trance --> Soft Trance
Its currently at Soft Trance. Anyways, if you want to hear some songs, here we are.

Reverberation.mp3
Classification : Techno-ish
Reverberation. A pretty solid song by my standards. I'd say it falls in the category of something more techno-ish. Very catchy. Long. Uses alot of looping, but there is enough variety to make it seem fine. Named Reverberation because I used alot of Delay and Reverb in it.


Crystaline.mp3
Classification : Trance
Crystaline. Trancy. Very trancy - the lead sounds like it was made in trance heaven. This song also contains my voice heavily vocoded through FL. You'll hear me saying "Oh yeah" turned backwards during the song. Sounds kinda like... "Awawaawa Ahh". Also, you'll hear "Welcome to the World of Telekinetix". My DJ name is Teleias Kentix, and the album that includes Crystaline is called Telekinetix.

My friend's remix of Crystaline. Turns it into a Trance / Acid. Sometimes I like his mix better then my own. >..<

Farthern Astray
Classification : Techno
Early work. This is what actually got me into making music. I was just playing around before and then I made this.. And I'm like, wow, thats good. At the start it sas "DJ Mino, Farthern Astray, Evolution". DJ Mino was the name I was going to use, but some mexican DJ took it first. Sigh. Farthern Astray is the song name, and Evolution is the Album.

Classification : House
Early work. This is my attempt at a House-style of music. Inspired by Daft Punk.

The World
Classification : Trance?
Very early work. First attempt at putting my voice through something. It comes out nicely but needs a background and some other exciting things. "The World is at Your Feet"

Teleias is from "Teleias Kentix" which is a name I made up from the English word "Telekinetix"

I’m curious however: Do you use any kind of music devices for those mp3s ?
I remember i saw my friend use some kind of keyboard (music tuts) plugged
in to his PC while composing his music.. Afterward, i’ve been thinking that one
will not be able to compose music without those devices...

If those kind of devices aren’t necessary, i think i’m interested to make some.
Any good FL reference for newbie ? I’ve tried FL actually. It was far too complex
for me.. Didn’t know where to start.

I'd be glad to help ya, I'm not the best person ever, but I'd love to (try) to help. I don't use any external devices, nor are you required to. You can play a Virtual Piano using your Keyboard, or set up notes on an On-Screen Piano Roll.

After retried FL, think i now understand the work flow...

Seems like the ‘overwhelming’ interface is common in music composing apps.
My friend told me that.. But i figured out that once we understand the work flow,
all we have to do is to get used with the ‘technical words’ used in music world,
such as pitch, controller, pan, etc and etc (i just knew that the piano like keyboard
called piano controller, not ‘device’ like i said)..

Anyway, this same friend of mine, he said that FL is a good music apps...

A new thing to toy on: Music Composing...
Don’t worry, i’ll ask here if anything stuck me..
