Okay im just beginning to learn how to use visual basic 2008 express edition and its nice but i still dont know any programming language really... i have been searching all day today to find out how to make a sub item in a Menustrip open up a program or start a webbrowser or something... I cant find anything to teach me how ...

The new free MS VB Express 2008 can be downloaded from
http://www.microsoft.com/express/vb/

It should install easily unless you are missing some thing like .NET framework or you got an really old pc, so check system requirements before install.

I downloaded the sql express and c# express a while ago and they are loads of fun to learn

For game development, try C++ express and the free DarkGDK
