I find it pretty funny that you are trying to hack single player with a memory editor. Have you never heard of ladder hall and nightshiver?

Hero Editor is what you use to make uber characters on single player/open bnet. Don't be fooled either to think that it's easy to make the best single player character because it's not easy. It requires extensive studying and trial and error of different combinations.

check out http://www.ladderhall.com/forum

p.s. memory editors are useless on "closed bnet" because on closed bnet everything is stored on blizzard servers, thus hacking it is impossible via memory editing. Packet editing and client sided mods are possible, however. Beware though, closed bnet on D2 is also protected by Warden and you can get ez'd pretty fast.

I felt it was pretty entertaining to hack diablo II single player. The hacking
process, for me, is an interesting game itself... It gives me a big picture of
how game characters are built, how the values work, etc.

With this understanding, i can move on to multi player hacks with some
‘basic knowledge’ about the game mechanics, which in turn would give me
clues which values are hack-able and which ones are not...

However, thanks for the link... Just visited there, and it’s cool one !

no values are hackable on closed bnet. everything is server sided. you can only do client sided GUI edits and packet edit.
