Question about editing Memory (WoW)

I have made some noobish atempt on trying to hack some in wow (have only made some trainers to non online games earlyer).

I managed to "freez" a buff so it never runs out but now im trying to c if i can edit the value that the same buff gives.

Example. Mark of the wild rank 1 gives +25 Armor. if i could edit the +25 value i could increse the armor that buff gives when frozen i could basicly edit the stats for allmost any "basic Stats" in game (making Über characters )
but now the noob shines ... I don't really know how to find the right value to edit. and as i search for bytes the values i get is in bytes (i guess) so basicly how do i findout the "numeric" value so i know how to edit it??

You can make some trial to find exploits in private server. Plus, like mezzo
had said, you may endangered your account if you try to hack official servers...

hehe, my initial reply was to advise you to get the data structures from the
source code that is out there.

hacking a private server is a good way to make your initial hack, BUT it
will not prepare you for the warden. Be sure to use a kernel rootkit or some serious process/window hiding when you try hacking wow, as it will find what you are doing. The blizzard guys area shoot first and ask questions later bunch of guys, they won't think twice before banning you.
