MHS is open-source.
You just don’t know where the source is.

Private Section members get exclusive access to the source for one month before it is released to the public.
That means November 4th my time.

So you finaly want to release the source, nice; even if it's only for the private section member for now :(
Any plans on MHS2 or will you wait for the community to release some great mods ;) ?

The main reason for my lack of attention to MHS is due to my engine. That was and still is the right choice because it is my engine that provides my income.

However I will retire in a few years and I do not want to work on the same project for too long. There is a very high chance that when I am tired of my engine and I am sitting around the house bored all the time due to having no job, I will make a new hacking utility, this time entirely from scratch.
The experience I have gained since starting MHS guarantees that a full from-scratch remake will be significantly more hardcore.
However, the waiting period for such a tool is best measured in years.
