memory editing detection?

quick question....i was told editing the DS (aka variables in memory) using MHS was undetectable how is this so?

also if it is truly undetectable why is writeprocessmemory usually detected by most anticheats?

MHS does not use WriteProcessMemory().
That makes it undetectable in most situations.
