Diablo2 Installed CDKey Finding Coding

Hi

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post but I hope someone can help me out.

Basically I lost my d2 cd key and want to find out what I've got installed and am currently using when connecting to bnet.

I am a programmer but its been mid/high level stuff like delphi and c#, so this low level stuff is new to me.

I've done a lot of reading over the last few days but am getting swamped with good but useless information.

So if anyone can give me some pointers in the right direction I should be researching, it would be appreciated.

Just an update - I worked it out.

I just searched in memory for the expansion pack cd key -which I had - in the memory at the logon screen to bnet. My missing origional key was quite near it.

Simple when you know how....
