Install "Cute PDF". When installed it creates a virtual printer.
So you can print your word document to a pdf file.

The quality won't be reduced.

Or, buy a Mac they can convert anything to pdf without quality loss.

(try cute pdf, if it doesn't work, I will convert your file on my mbp)
